Dog Gets A Present Every Day From His Mom While She’s Away, And It’s The Cutest Thing Ever

When Laura Blount took on a pet-sitting job to watch a dog while his mom was out of town for 10 days, she thought it would be just like any other gig. But things took a funny turn when she discovered the dog came with a bag of pre-wrapped gifts, each one carefully labeled for a specific day.

Since Blount had never sat for this dog before, she was a bit confused — until she found out the reason behind the presents.

A Special Routine for a Very Spoiled Pup

The dog’s mom had packed a gift for each day she would be away. Each present had a label with the date it was meant to be opened. What’s even more surprising was that the gifts weren’t meant for Blount to open — they were for the dog himself.

“I think he is very much used to receiving presents each day,” Blount told The Dodo. “The owner said it is his favorite thing to do.”

Intrigued, Blount gave the pup his first gift — and couldn’t help but laugh as he carefully unwrapped the toy inside.

A Happy Pup Looking Forward to His Daily Surprise

The dog eagerly anticipated his daily presents, which helped him pass the time until his mom returned.

“He was always excited and knew I was about to be giving him another present with the hidden toy inside,” Blount said.

Spreading Joy on TikTok

Blount shared a video of the dog opening his labeled presents on TikTok, and it quickly went viral.

“People have found it hysterical and adorable at the same time,” Blount said.

Clearly, this gift-loving pup is spoiled, but more importantly, he’s deeply loved.
